Yet more news! Kind of... (August 31, 2003)LOTR DAOC Chatlog File Added. You can read it here.
Grats to Llysa on RR7. I catch these things occasionally, albeit rarely. How about slinging me some email so I can put something interesting up. I've decided not to add to the website until I get some kind of information from you guys and gals. Just felt like Tossing up an update. GM's and/or Mineo, if you see this email me so I can send the site to you, or send me the password and the instructions for FTPing/Publishing this sight to the new www.ciorcallochtach.com. Thanks.
NEWS!! For the week of August 3, 2003.INC NEWS! Stay tuned true believers!NOTE: See that link to the left? Or how about the green one waaay at the bottom? Those go straight to my mailbox. (oooh I made a clicky right there!) Guess why I put them there. Anyway, I'm doing my best, but to date, I have zero emails from any guildies. So email me some news, some event, something, anything, I'll even take internet jokes (www.happytreefriends.com anyone?) at this point. Soon as the sight is moved to ciorcal-lochtach.com I'll have a picture submission page up. Keep them funny, I'm still going for a fairly fast loading website, and they will all be screened beforehand. Don't be upset if it doesn't show up on the website. I'm not giving up on this.
For the week of July 27, 2003 Relic Raid! (July 27, 2003)The evening of the 27 and 28 was met with hardship in Hibernia, as we lost the remaining Strenght Relics to the Albion Zerg. The Albs were met with resistance, but with the cooperation of Mids (who were able to distract some of us at Dagda) absconded with our Strength Relics. However, sixty Hibernians repelled 150 Albs at Dagda with the help of Ciorcal Lochtachians. Quick thinking by Fordel on the Pallintone made short work of rams on the doors, while DoTs by Ceana and Volleys by Thelma kept Albs on the side of the keep busy. The hard work of sixty Hibs is obviously >>> 150 Albs. Nice job to everyone there, especially the support classes that keep us alive. A new website link is going to be added to the links page. Here it is ahead of time. This is a great spot to find those "hard to reach" trophies, and figure out what alchemy things you might want to bug L for. http://www.daoc-trophy-mobs.com/index.html Remember to send me links to help this website become not only an enjoyable place to visit and get the latest news, but to become a useful tool to us all. For those of you who dinged 50 this week, you know you're supposed to email me right? :) I remember Llysa hit RR 6L1. Grats. Anyway, I remember a BM hitting 50 this week, however I scrolled through 6 pages of worthless threads on the VN boards and still couldn't find who it was. Grats to you too.
Here's what you've been missing!New guild web page is up and partially operational. I still need names of officers, and names of crafters (who want their name displayed) with their skill level. I could pull this info off the herald, but it is nice if you email it to me, then I know you want your names on this list. Otherwise you can remain anonymous. I hope to expand this website to make it more interesting and helpful. Our current monthly bandwidth limit is 1GB. That seems like plenty, as the entire site is only 379.1 KB. However, if someone can host the site, and has more available bandwidth/month and more than 20MB storage, we could add back pages with things like submitted screenshots. Just something to think about. I currently have a feedback form page, state of the website page, and a screenshot page (hopefully for future implementation) in the works. Stay tuned for more exciting developments!
I need YOUR help to keep this page up here. Please send me anything you think is newsworthy (eg. CL Killspam, new Realm Ranks, new Level 50s, things you are selling from your Consignment merchant, etc.) and I'll plop it up here. Just click below. I will not post Events, Raids, or anything that will clue in other realms on our activities; so please post that information in the private guild forum.
